Varjo hat den Early Access für ihren VR/XR Cloud Streamingdienst Varjo Reality Cloud eröffnet. Das Ganze baut auf Amazon Web Services (AWS) und NVIDIA GPUs auf und soll die XR-3, VR-3 und Aero Modelle mit 35 Megabit dank foveated Transport Algorithmus versorgen. Einen Preis konnte ich auf die schnelle leider nicht finden, aber ihr könnt euch an folgender Stelle in den Alpha-Verteiler einschreiben. Voraussetzung ist lediglich ein entsprechendes HMD, Internetbandbreite, entsprechender Background und eine nVidia GPU. Wollte ich machen da steht aber : Firma/ Berufsbezeichnung. Denke nicht das es für Privat gedacht ist oder ?
Vermutlich nicht, aber ob das jetzt besser ist, als ein starker PC vor Ort ist auch die Frage. Glaube kaum, dass sie online die vollen 37 ppd in jeder Lebenslage realisieren können, zumindest im Anfangsstadium. Keine Ahnung ob die Server mehr Leistung bereit stellen können als z.B ne 3090 oder 3080.
Die Registrierung ist eröffnet und 2022 wird zudem der Support auf weitere Engines (Unity/Unreal) erweitert. Darunter auch z.B. Autodesk VRED.
